Why did you join LSP?

1) To gain a deeper understanding of the greater St. Petersburg community 2) To improve my leadership skills, and 3) To develop lifelong friendships and business relationships.

What does LSP mean to you?

Leadership St. Pete means tradition and excellence, as well as having an alumni base that some consider to be a “Who’s who” of St. Petersburg.  It is a unique program that has been fine tuned over the past 40 years to become the premier leadership program in our area.

What is your vision of Leadership St. Pete in five years from 2009?

Other than minor adjustments here and there, I wouldn’t change a thing.  This program gets high praises from its graduates year in and year out.  It is truly a shining jewel of the Chamber.

Why did you join LSP?

I wanted to learn more about the community in which I live and make new contacts with whom to network. What I found was 35 new "best friends"! 

What does LSP mean to you?

Leadership St. Pete is THE best program offered by the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce.  It gives you an opportunity to network with other business leaders and have direct access to them as a result of your connections through LSP. It's like a "fraternity" and if you're a part of it - the contacts and friendships are never ending.

What is your vision of Leadership St. Pete in five years from 2009?

I hope I will always be a part of Leadership St. Pete. I feel it has grown over the 40 years it has been in existence, but also feel the value of how LSP functions makes it so much more special than any other leadership program around.  There is tradition that means a lot to those of us involved and it runs deep - all the way to the core of a person - and I hope that some of that never changes. ALL of what we do on the Planning Committee is for the good of the program and what it means to those who have gone before us and those who will follow.

What does LSP mean to you?

Good friend, and fun times in a learning environment.  The shared experience of the team is a dynamic that LSP affords to all who take part.

What is your vision of Leadership St. Pete in five years from 2009?

A strong team of leaders who will be better positioned to lead the community into the future.
